This digital art project was part of a curated show on HotWired's RGB Gallery. It features images from all over Southern Humboldt County. Students from Casterlin School, Osprey Learning Center, and Bridgeville School contributed to this site.
History Day Projects
This site was created by Sage and Nayena. It features information from their own as well as a couple of their classmates' History Day projects. It won a first place at the 1999 Star Tech competition in Ukiah.
Blocksburg Online Musuem
The site was created for Beverley Windbigler by various students and volunteers. In an effort to preserve this tiny mountain town's heritage, Bev collects old photos, local lore, and other artifacts. Some highlights of the site include a school teacher's diary from 1893 and postcard correspondence between an eleven-year-old girl and her friends around 1910.
Sunrise Worm Farm
The Sunrise Worm Farm site was one of the very first Web sites created by Hits.org for a local business person. Melody Driscoll owns and operates the worm farm with her husband Jeremy in Blocksburg.
