Recycled Youth is a small teen drama troop. Their production, "It's A Dirty Subject", deals with modern social problems facing people everywhere. The series of short plays confronted the issues of alchoholism, teen pregnancy, poverty, racism, and domestic violence. The entire production was performed by local teens. We met on weekday afternoons at the Mateel Community Center in Redway, California, for 12 weeks. We hope that this site will provide information as well as entertain.
Our featured skit, "Red", is based on the old story of Little Red Riding Hood and deals with the issues of self-esteem, molestation, relationships, self-concept, dating violence, values and decision making skills.
